The Hawkthorne Investigation Archive exists to document and investigate the growing number of disappearances, sightings, and unexplained incidents connected to Hawkthorne Wood and the entity known as "The Borrowed One".
Through recovered footage, witness testimony and independent investigation we aim to preserve evidence of these cases as best we can and support affected families leading us to uncover the truth behind the ongoing Hawkthorne incidents before more people vanish without explanation.
Frankie Vale - Investigative Reporter
Frankie Vale is an independent investigative journalist specializing in folklore, urban legends, unexplained disappearances and the stories most people would rather dismiss. But for over a decade he has travelled across the UK documenting the local stories of this creature which has almost identical sightings in every location leading us to believe we may have been wrong about it being just one creature.
Frankie blew up online after breaking the first modern case of this creature that has been seemingly swept under the rug by higher powers at be. He has now (working with our researchers) dated back cases almost 200 years ago.
He is now fully backed and endorsed by The Hawkthorne Missing
Trish Hart - Managing Editor
Trish Hart serves as the Managing Editor of The Hawkthorne Missing. She oversees the day-to-day operations of the investigation and coordinating the work of the site's journalists, researchers and contributors.
With a background in investigative reporting and editorial management she ensures each submission, article and witness account published by us meets the highest standard and is as respectful as we can be to the victims of the "Borrowed One"
Lucy Blackwell - Correspondent
Lucy Blackwell is a field correspondent who travels throughout the UK investigating reports that may be connected to the events occurring in Hawkthorne. She reaches out directly to families effected by this and collects as much information to add to our private database in hopes we can stop all of this
Nathan Phillips - Researcher
Nathan Phillips is one of our lead researchers, he is responsible for examining historical records, archived newspapers, local folklore and official documents relating to the Hawkthorne disappearances.
He assists Frankie Vale directly using the cases Frankie has brought to him to piece together the complex history of this anomaly

Charlotte Bennett oversees our digital operations from managing the website, social media channels and public communications. She makes sure that reports, witness statements and investigative updates reach the widest possible audience, charlotte plays a vital role in connecting the investigation with the public.
Her efforts have helped bring forward numerous witnesses who may otherwise never have shared their experiences with the investigation.

Olivia Graves is a journalist with a particular interest in missing persons cases, witness testimony, and the human stories that often become lost behind official investigations. Since joining The Hawkthorne Missing, she has focused on documenting the personal impact of disappearances within Hawkthorne, speaking directly with families, friends, and members of the community affected by the ongoing mystery.
